Environment

Boyd:  It was cool with a bar looking out the window and it has a chalkboard for kids to draw.

Kennedy:   Small but cute. Had two big tables, a small table, and a bar.

James:  Nice counter service with menu on the wall behind the counter.  There are only 3 tables with a 4 seat bar looking out onto Kavanaugh.  It did get a little crowded, but people seem to move thru quickly

Attendance 

Boyd:  They were nice.

Kennedy:  The service was nice. They gave us what we asked for very quickly.

James:  Counter Service, but the staff were friendly and patient with our questions about what our dipping options were.

Chew

Boyd:  Natural Vanilla dipped in Milk Chocolate, then dipped in Oreo Cookie crumbles – It was delicious, but it melted.

Kennedy:  I had a Strawberry Popsicle. It tasted like freshly picked strawberries.

James:  I had the Strawberry-Banana Popsicle and it was delicious.  I have to say the Boyd’s was the best of the three.  Yum!

Chewing with Dad

I’ve had the idea for Chewing with Dad for some time.  Really was thinking of ways to become more interactive with Kennedy and Boyd and to help get us away from our phones while we are out.  Want us to be able to enjoy each other’s company as we discuss our adventures.  Then we write it all down.  We’ve defined an outline (although, I know it may change over time) of what we want this blog to look like.  The four main sections (Environment, Attendance, Chew and Endorsement) are discussed prior to getting where we are going, during the experience and afterwards.  I’m really looking forward to this process!  Who knew that Tip Top Chew would bring us closer as a family!
