Had a great time at the Arkansas Italian Food and Culture Festival over the weekend.  Went early on Friday and then again on Saturday afternoon.  Early Friday, there weren’t many people there, which meant there were no lines for food.  Saturday afternoon wasn’t much busier, so no long lines at all.  It was great to get out of the house and move around a little.  The food was excellent and got to play a little Baggo and watch some Bocce Ball.  Even walked out over the river on the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge.

Lots and lots of food to choose from and I wish I could have tried them all.  So not to leave anyone out, here’s a list of the local restaurants that participated.

Tip Top Chew

Hi!  I’m James, single dad of two awesome kids (Kennedy and Boyd), who sometimes join me in my journey of finding great places to dine.  I started Tip Top Chew as a hobby on Facebook back in 2015 and Instagram in early 2018.  It’s something I enjoy, even though others occasionally make fun of me when I break out the camera to take pictures of our food!  🙂

My goal with this blog is to be able to share a bit more of my creative side while growing stronger relationships with my kids as we venture out and share together.  We’re starting a segment called Chewing with Dad in the hopes to get away from our phones and enjoy each other’s company a little more.  We discuss our adventures, then we write it all down and hopefully it turns into something worth reading.  I’m really looking forward to this process!
