Tip Top Chew
Throwback Thursday: December 2015
So in honor of hitting 1000 Likes on Facebook, I thought I’d do a little something different for the blog. Basically, it’s just a look back over time in the life of Tip Top Chew, through our Facebook Page, where it all began. Our goal is to come out with a new blog every week with a Tip Top Chew Throwback Thursday! (Hopefully on Thursday! 🙂 )
I always enjoy looking back to see what all has changed. Some places are still awesome as ever and some are now no longer with us.
I hope you all enjoy it.

Aww! Another favorite of mine that went away at some point in the past. I loved the Drunken Chicken and Red Beans and Rice. I would always stop at Tropical Smoothie Cafe to get the kids something and then next door to J. Gumbo. It was a regional chain and the only one in Little Rock.

What? Another trip to El Porton! It looks like the Lunch Fajitas. Always a good bet for any Tuesday Work Lunch!
December 9, 2015
Nice! David’s Burgers in West Little Rock. Doesn’t look like much, but oh so appetizing. Not one of your fancy burgers, but more old school. Absolutely awesome!
December 13, 2015
My only trip to Zoes Kitchen. This was right after it opened and it was really good, but I think it was too ‘fast food’ for Greek Food. It lasted 3-4 more years and went away without much fanfare.

Here is one place that we used to go to on a routine basis and every time I see the name, I want some Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken. Need to go soon!

Although a chain, the kids and I frequent Tropical Smoothie Cafe all the time. Definitely much easier with their new mobile app to order, drive-thru and pay all on your phone. At this time, they had some new quinoa salad that was pretty good.

More J. Gumbo. I think their biggest problem was that their food really worked well in the fall and winter on a chilly day. Yum!

And the 3rd restaurant that I attended in December 2015 which is no longer in business. I went there 2-3 times and the food was always excellent and the people were great. Just think there was an issue with the time it took for the food to be served. I remember going there for lunch once and it took forever.
So, there goes Tip Top Chew’s Throwback Thursdays for 2015! Looking forward to 2016 and reliving all the remarkable places!
