Located in downtown Little Rock on 3rd Street between Rock Street and River Market Avenue.

Currently they have another location in The Heights and another on the way in Conway.

You can also order online and have it ready when you get there.

Environment

Fast casual restaurant where you go to get what basically is a sushi bowl.

Attendance

The staff were friendly and answered all of our questions, of which, there were many.

Chew

Wasabi Lover Bowl – Shrimp, tuna, cucumber carrot, edamame, corn, avocado, wasabi creamy sauce

Fire Bowl – Spicy salmon, spicy tuna, avocado, edamame, masago, sriracha mayo sauce

The beautiful thing here, is that you don’t have to get raw fish, if you don’t want.  I choose the shrimp and it was perfect!

They have a few signature bowls or you can make your own.

First you chose from rice (white or brown) or greens (mixed or kale).

Then you add meat, veggies and sauce.

In addition, there are several toppings to choose from.

Once the bowl is finished, find a seat and eat with chopsticks.

Endorsement

Been wanting to try out the Hawaiian bowls for some time now.

Really enjoyed the quick and easy process to order.

The food was light and tasty.

A great option for when you’re looking for something not so heavy.

Lunch at Poke Hula

Tip Top Chew

Hi!  I’m James, single dad of two awesome kids (Kennedy and Boyd), who sometimes join me in my journey of finding great places to dine.  I started Tip Top Chew as a hobby on Facebook back in 2015 and Instagram in early 2018.  It’s something I enjoy, even though others occasionally make fun of me when I break out the camera to take pictures of our food!  🙂

My goal with this blog, is to be able to share a bit more of my creative side while growing stronger relationships with my kids as we venture out and share together.  We’re starting a segment called Chewing with Dad in the hopes to get away from our phones and enjoy each other’s company a little more.  We discuss our adventures, then we write it all down and hopefully it turns into something worth reading.  I’m really looking forward to this process!
